Quality engineered for direct fastening applications, the semi-automatic Simpson Strong-Tie PT-27 General-Purpose Tool fires with speed and precision. Professionals love the ability to continuously use of this fast-cycling tool, along with its reliability and low maintenance. The PT-27 is powder-actuated and highly versatile, able to fire a variety of PAT (powder actuated tool) fasteners of various lengths. Use this tool with .300” or 8mm-headed fasteners, or 1/4”-20 threaded studs. Fastener length can range from 1/2”-2-1/2” (3” washered).

Common applications include acoustical ceilings, sill plates, drywall track, cold-formed steel installations, water proofing material or lathing, and electrical applications. This 13-1/2” long tool comes in a rugged tool box with a user manual, spall suppressor, tools for disassembly, safety glasses & ear plugs, cleaning brushes, a user exam and caution sign. The PT-27 is compatible with numerous Strong-Tie pins including the PDPA, PDPAWL, PDPAT, PCLDPA, PECLDPA, PTRHA, PINW, PINWP, PHBC, PCC, PBXDP and PKP.
