Metabo HPT's NR1890DCA 30º Paper Tape Framing Nailer is the next step forward from the NR1890DCST — lighter, more powerful, and built for the demands of real jobsite work.

At 8.2 lbs (without battery), it's a full pound lighter than its predecessor, with a more compact, balanced design that reduces fatigue during long days of framing. The air spring drive system delivers 120 joules of driving force, pushing 3-1/2" nails through laminated veneer lumber and other engineered materials without hesitation. Fire up to 3 nails per second with zero ramp-up time — no air tank, no waiting.

The redesigned control panel makes switching between sequential and bump fire modes fast and intuitive. Enhanced indicator lighting and a built-in LED keep you working in low-light conditions. The upgraded aluminum magazine improves durability and speeds up nail reloads. The aggressive nose design gives you the grip and angle control needed for toenailing.

As part of the Metabo HPT MultiVolt™ System, the NR1890DCA works with both 18V and 36V batteries. The included compact battery gets you 500 nails per charge — or step up to the MultiVolt battery for up to 8.0Ah of runtime across your entire tool lineup.
