The Hitachi BSL1830C 18V Compact 3.0Ah Lithium Ion (339782) battery is a powerful, long-lasting battery for a variety of Hitachi 18V slide-type power tools. It delivers increased productivity and runtime thanks to the large 3.0Amp Hour (Ah) capacity. The Amp hour capacity refers to how long the battery can last before recharging. The BSL1830C battery is surprisingly compact, coming in at only half a pound and 3/4” more compact than a traditional 3.0Ah battery (compared to model BSL1830). It provides balance to cordless tools without adding to user fatigue. For protection from the elements, this battery features a resin coating. Its complex circuitry also prevents damage from overload, overcharge, and over-discharge of the battery. This impressive battery can be used to power Hitachi all 18V slide type cordless tool models. The BSL1830C battery charges the fastest on charger model UC18YSL3 (30 minutes). Other compatible charger models and charging times include: UC18YFSL (45 minutes) and UC18YKSL (90 minutes) (chargers sold separately).The Hitachi BSL1830C battery is warranted to the original purchaser to be free from defect in materials and workmanship for a period of 2-years from the original purchase date.
