Simpson Strong-Tie's Strong-Bolt 2 Wedge Anchor STB2-62600 5/8” x 6” is not your average fastener. This wedge anchor is designed for use in cracked and uncracked concrete and masonry, making it a must-have for professional contractors on development sites. Common applications include beam and column anchorage, cable supports, elevators, escalators and more! The Strong-Bolt 2 Wedge Anchor can be mounted vertically, horizontally, or even overhead. This is one versatile mechanical anchor!
From its chamfered top designed to prevent mushrooming, to its clip segments which enable secondary expansion, this anchor was engineered to carry the load should a crack form upon installation. This Strong-Bolt 2 Wedge Anchor and all its components (nut, washer, and clip) are made of carbon steel with a zinc plated finish. It is ideal for indoor use with applications not exposed to water or harmful chemicals.
