We’re hiring at our Superior, WI location.

Polar Tool & Supply is looking for an Outside Sales & Operations Associate. It’s a sales and delivery job for someone who likes working with customers, getting out of the office, and staying busy.

We’re family-owned and operated. We opened in 2007, so we’ve been at this for 18+ years, with locations in Gem Lake, MN, Superior, WI, and Altoona, WI. We want dependable people who enjoy helping customers, learning the products, and taking pride in a job well done.

About the job

This is a hands-on, well-rounded role. You’ll support outside sales, deliveries, in-store sales, customer service, and daily operations. No two days are exactly the same.

Is this the job for you?

If you’d rather be out talking with contractors and delivering to jobsites than sitting at a desk all day, this is a good fit. If you like learning how tools and supplies work and then helping someone find the right one, even better. You’ll spend your days with customers, with the products, and with a team that pitches in for each other.

What you’ll do

·      Build relationships with contractors and customers through outside sales

·      Help customers in the store pick the right products

·      Make local deliveries

·      Load and unload products

·      Stock and organize inventory

·      Support day-to-day operations and pitch in where needed

What we’re looking for

·      Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software

·      A customer-focused attitude and good communication

·      Some knowledge of or experience in construction

·      Willingness to learn our products and the industry

·      Honesty, reliability, integrity, and a strong work ethic

·      Able to work independently and as part of a team

·      Willing to help wherever you’re needed

·      Able to regularly lift 50+ lbs (nails, screws, tools, and supplies)

Construction experience is a plus, but it isn’t a dealbreaker. If you have the right attitude, we’ll train you.

You don’t need to know everything on day one. We care more about whether you show up, work hard, and treat people right. The product knowledge comes with time.

Schedule and pay

·      Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM

·      Pay: Competitive pay plus benefits
