Big Timber CTX Construction Screws are heat-treated and hardened, making them more durable than ordinary screws and a superior alternative to traditional Lag screws. Sharp deep cutting threads and a knurled shank allow for quick easy driving into wood and a notched Type 17 point allows for quick starting and prevents the screw from “walking’. The large diameter Round Washer head with a 6-Point Star (Torx) Drive allows for easy high-torque installation and reduces drive bit slippage. Triple-coated with Big Timbers proprietary exterior grade Bronze Star finish that exceeds the corrosion resistance standard of the ASTM A153 hot dip galvanized fasteners specification. CTX screws are ACQ certified.
