Description
The tetraGRIP 650964 Siding Nail is specially designed to quickly and securely fasten fiber cement siding, without the need for connecting to studs. This uniquely designed nail features a barbed helix shank that offers tremendous holding power in OSB sheathing. Eliminating the need to find and mark studs, the siding nail saves approximately 20% on installation time compared to using a pneumatic coil nailer and standard nails. Part of the Studless Fastening System, this nail also saves on material waste; simply use the panel cut-off in the next course.
Much like a screw, the tetraGRIP turns while it’s driven, rotating into wood and forming a high-load-capacity mechanical bond. The nail’s 1-1/8” length prevents it from puncturing electrical wires or plumbing, and its full-round-head (0.300) and diameter (.117) provide the same withdrawal resistance as a 2-1/4″ nail. Made of galvanized steel for corrosion resistance, the plastic-collated nail is exclusively compatible with the Paslode tetraGRIP TG100CSN Coil Siding Nailer. The tetraGRIP 650964 Siding Nail comes as 120 nails per coil and 3,600 nails per box.
